I often wonder if anyone really reads what I have to say. But it really isn’t about me, is it? It is about Jesus. We never know if and when we would be used by him to glorify God. I doubt if 13 year old Logan knew his thoughts about his relationship with a ‘special’ calf would be used so powerfully to preach the Gospel message. It is amazing what God can do when your not even looking. I was really touched by this Nebraska teen and what he had to say about God. Perhaps you will be too, if you haven’t already seen it. Even if you have, it is one of those videos one could watch over and over again.
Enjoy, and God bless!

I know that my blog is more for me than anyone else. I really want to grapple with the true gospel, uncluttered by presuppositions. That is my purpose. Even if it disturbs me. If somebody else reads it or not is of little consequence.
For whatever it’s worth, I enjoy your writing.
Thank you Doug. Your comment comes at a time when I really need it. I’ve been feeling low lately, perhaps because I’ve been ill for about a month. Physical health sometimes takes its toll on my spiritual outlook. Such things often tempt me to feel sorry for myself.
Your comment reminded me of my initial goal, which was simply to write what I believe without caring if anyone reads. It is probably the purist of the testimonies of the heart – just testify of one’s faith and let the chips fall where they may. While you remained faithful to the spirit of this goal, I looked for something else. It is good to be reminded now and then of what one’s attitude should be.
Thank you for reading, and thank you especially for your comment. It hit home and probably in a way that you didn’t intend. :-)
