Lots of folks, today, want to make Peter into a scientist rather than see him as the fisherman that he truly was. When he speaks of the heavens passing away and the elements melting with fervent heat, folks simply want to interpret this as the end of our space / time continuum. Yet the Bible never speaks of the end of time or the end of the Gospel age. If the Gospel age never ends, then believers will always–forever–be preaching to the world about Jesus and what he did. If the Gospel age will never end, then this demands Jesus’ Second Coming to have already occurred, and the only time that could have been is cir. 70 AD when Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed, just as Jesus promised he would do just before his crucifixion.

Below are a few studies on 2Peter 3. At present there are 18, but I may add to the list, if I see the need. It is my hope that the reader enjoys them as much as I enjoyed producing them. However, I should say that these studies follow a You Tube video series that was produced by Dr. William Bell. Much of what I claim in these studies was gleaned from Dr. Bell’s teaching.
