The subject of demons is somewhat of a mystery. Some people believe there is one behind every tree, and certainly account for much of the evil done in the world today. The subject of demonology has certainly been abused by some in order to astonish others with of view of putting people in fear, believing (of course) that in this way the preacher could advance the Kingdom of God. The problem is, Jesus refused the help of what we call demons to advance his ministry. So there seems to be somewhat of a disparity between what Jesus did and what we find in some of today’s “Christian” ministries.
